My music reflects the spirit of both of my cultures- Finnish and Czech. Surrounded by musicians from birth, I can’t say when my career started. In my early years, I developed a love for music that survived many years of study and hard work. The early influences and the professional training have allowed me to become a versatile singer.

I have recorded music in Czech, English and Finnish. My first singles were written by some of the top songwriters and composers in the business- Vexi Salmi, Pertti Haverinen and Kalervo “Kassu” Halonen. And I wrote a few of my own songs.

In 1993, I recorded my first album, “Báječné Cesty” for the Czech market. “Mně se líbí jen Jim” was my first hit. 

In 1997, I recorded “Antaudun,” a collection of Finnish, Czech and American pop and musical songs. I sang the music of some incredible composers and lyricists- Karel Svoboda, Jaromír Klempíř and Vexi Salmi. “Tva láska smutek zahání” was the Czech version of Kirill “Kirka” Babitz’s “Surun pyyhit silmistäni,” one of the most popular Finnish songs ever. Also included on “Antaudun” was my composition “Prahan Kevät.” It is still performed all over Finland by various artists.

That year was memorable also because of the popular competition “Syksyn Sävel” where I was the best female singer with the song “Lomarakkaus” (composed by Pekka Saukkonen). 

I have sung with a big band, jazz trios and other jazz/pop ensembles over the years. I’ve been the lead singer of The Lucky Street Band since 2000. We have played in festivals (Back to the 60’s, Oulun meripäivät) as well as various public and private events in Finland. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 we played the Independence Day celebration for the Finnish consulate in Shanghai, China.

In 2009 and 2019, I joined many major stars on the Czech music scene at the Amfora Agency’s 35th and 45 ^th anniversary gala concerts at Prague’s Hybernia Theater. A beautiful night in a beautiful place. I sang the title track from “Antaudun” (originally “Jsi můj pán” from the Czech musical “Dracula” and “Tunteen Siemen” (originally “Nešlap Nelámej” by Jaromír Klempíř).

I have also had the honor of singing the national anthems of various nations- seven nations, seven languages, so far- at international ice hockey and in-line hockey tournaments in Finland.
